Concordia 3, Northern State 0

Checked out the 2012 version of Golden Bear volleyball this afternoon.

Surprises:

*Hailey Cowles is coaching for Concordia.

*Kaleinani Kabalis, from Washington State, is playing for Northern State.

*Kelsey Chambers is playing for Northern State. I figured she was another basketball Chambers.

*The match started at 4pm, not 3pm.

*$8! $8!?!

*Ellie Duffy hits the snot out of the ball.

*Moltens are snotty, for some reason.


My recap:

Concordia wasn't really challenged, but I think this team is definitely going to have a rough time winning six national titles in a row. They do have the advantage of having already won the first five. That's the tricky part. But, seriously, the ball control just doesn't seem to be there.
